Automation Engineer / Lead

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer at Wipro Limited, your role is to prepare test cases and conduct testing of the product/ platform/ solution for deployment at a client end. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the product meets 100% quality assurance parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Implement Cucumber BDD/JUnit frameworks for test execution and reporting. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements. - Identify, analyze, and document defects using bug tracking tools. - Perform Manual Testing for critical features. - Utilize strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD). - Understanding of Java concepts like Collections, OOPs, Exception Handling, and handling Json files. - Experience with Agile methodologies and testing management tools. - Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Qualifications Required: - 5 to 10+ years of experience in test engineering. - Proficiency in Selenium is mandatory. - Experience with backend applications and Linux commands is desirable. - Familiarity with version control systems and backend testing tools like Postman and Rest Assured. - Knowledge of SQL databases for backend validation. - Hands-on experience with browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
