Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reusable automated test frameworks to drive test automation goals and support continuous integration and regression testing. Your expertise in the Karate Framework is a must-have for this role. You should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field. Your primary responsibilities will include database testing, where you will utilize your PL/SQL skills to read stored procedures, write complex queries, and work with arithmetic and aggregate functions. Additionally, you should have experience in API testing, covering both SOAP and REST protocols. Collaboration with DevOps teams for CI/CD processes is crucial. You will be expected to support them by writing code and tests while promoting best practices. Your proficiency in Core Java, Karate Framework, and either Java or Python is essential for this role. Experience with tools such as TestNG, Junit, and Maven, along with a strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle, will be beneficial. Familiarity with test management tools like Jira is also preferred.
