As a Senior Automation Engineer at JLL, your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing automation control systems for various industrial processes and warehouse distribution equipment. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent professional experience. You should have at least 5 years of experience with PLC-controlled automation, 2 years of experience with robotics work cells, and proficiency in Ladder Logic programming from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys PLCs. Additionally, you should possess leadership skills, advanced proficiency in verbal and written English, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a related field and extensive experience in identifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and designing HMI and control network components, Motor Controls, SCADA systems, and various programming software platforms. You should also have experience in controls design, systems integration, field service engineering, and supporting a wide range of conveyors and sortation systems. Your key responsibilities will include item counting, stock verification, stock reporting to the company, and other related store tasks.
