AutoCAD Draughtsman/Woman

Role Overview: As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings using Autocad or ZWCAD software based on sketches, rough drawings, or specifications provided by the Project director, engineers, or external architects. Your main focus will be on residential building plans and detailing, specifically for CMDA/Corporation Approval drawings. You will need to ensure the accuracy and detail of the drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and other relevant details. Additionally, you will be required to maintain organized drawing files, coordinate with team members for seamless integration of drawings, and incorporate changes as directed. Your role will also involve maintaining records of work progress at the site and verifying measurements for billing purposes. Key Responsibilities: - Create technical drawings in Autocad based on provided sketches, rough drawings, or specifications - Produce accurate and detailed plans, elevations, sections, and details for residential buildings - Verify dimensions, materials, and other details to minimize errors and rework - Maintain organized drawing files and records - Coordinate with team members for integration of drawings across disciplines - Incorporate changes and revisions to existing drawings - Maintain records of work progress at the site - Verify measurements for billing and provide approvals for sub-contractor billings - Coordinate with Architects/Consultants for questions/doubts and record changes in the office - Occasionally interact with customers (flat purchasers) for design changes requested by them Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Architecture or B.E. in Civil Engineering - Minimum 3 years of experience in residential building plans/detailing and CMDA/Corporation Approval drawings - Excellent working knowledge and exposure to Autocad and/or Revit - Exposure in structural detailing and quantity takeoff - Experience in drafting relevant disciplines (Electrical/Plumbing) for various layouts and details - Familiarity with CMDA/DTCP Pre-DCR Norms - Having your own two-wheeler and a valid driving license is strongly recommended (Note: Any additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
