AutoCAD Draughtsman

Profile Summary:
A skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with expertise in creating detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings for chemical process equipment, pilot plants, and skid-mounted systems. Proficient in translating complex engineering concepts into precise, manufacturable drawings in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. Strong understanding of piping layouts, structural supports, equipment arrangement, and instrumentation schematics used in chemical and process industries.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D Drafting & 3D Modeling) and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Familiar with preparing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Experienced in generating General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Isometric Drawings, and Layout Plans.
• Good understanding of material specifications, standard engineering symbols, and drafting practices.
• Ability to work with engineers and process designers to develop accurate and detailed drawings for pilot plants and modular units.
• Knowledge of relevant industrial standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO).
• Capable of coordinating with mechanical, process, and instrumentation engineers to resolve design issues.
• Effective time management and attention to detail to meet tight project deadlines.

Responsibilities at Seprex Pvt Ltd:

• Preparing detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings of skid-mounted pilot plants, reactors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, and piping systems.
• Assisting in design development by producing GA drawings and layout plans for pilot and demo plants.
• Updating drawings based on design changes and field feedback to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Preparing isometric piping drawings with material specifications and annotations.
• Coordinating with the engineering team to implement design modifications and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensuring compliance with client requirements and engineering best practices.
• Archiving and maintaining drawing documentation according to project standards.

Professional Experience:
Worked on multiple pilot plant and modular unit projects focused on chemical process development, including:

• Design of slurry reactors, multi-stage CSTRs, and vapor-liquid separation systems.
• Layout design for pilot distillation and heat integration units.
• Preparation of instrument installation drawings and cable routing plans.

Educational Qualification:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or Drafting Technology.

Pay: ₹9,925.85 - ₹20,000.00 per month
