AutoCAD Draftsman

Role Overview: As an AutoCAD Draftsman at KWS Evaporators Pvt Ltd, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, responsible for creating precise technical drawings for various industrial equipment. Your role will involve converting engineering concepts into detailed designs to support fabrication, assembly, and project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings for a range of industrial equipment such as evaporators, ATFDs, heat exchangers, tanks, structures, and piping skids. - Develop and update P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) based on engineering inputs. - Create detailed 2D layouts and 3D models using AutoCAD for equipment, components, and plant layouts. - Collaborate with design engineers and project teams to understand technical requirements and design specifications. - Ensure compliance with company drafting standards, quality norms, and industry codes in all drawings. - Generate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and material lists for procurement and fabrication processes. - Manage document control by maintaining drawing revisions, version history, and library updates. - Conduct thorough reviews and verifications of drawings to ensure completeness, accuracy, and dimensional correctness before release. Qualification Required: - Diploma/ITI or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Draftsman in the manufacturing or fabrication industry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) with the ability to create detailed technical drawings. - Strong understanding of mechanical drafting practices, GD&T, and standard drafting symbols. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, P&IDs, and layouts accurately. - Attention to detail and high accuracy in all deliverables. - Effective communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
