Autocad Designer with Staad (Solar Industry)

You are a skilled Solar Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing efficient and cost-effective solar power systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Your main responsibilities will include: - Conducting site surveys for capacity analysis, shadow analysis, and plant layout designing. - Preparing PV layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Bill of Materials (BOM), 2D & 3D project models, structure fabrication drawings, and RFQs. - Performing AC & DC cable sizing, earthing calculations, PV system reports, and string configurations. - Reviewing tender technical specifications, extracting BOM, and preparing costing as per BOM. - Creating civil and mechanical drawings related to solar installations. - Developing detailed 3D designs of project sites. - Preparing structure drawings using AutoCAD and conducting structural analysis using STAAD. Key Result Areas (KRA): - Design & Drafting Accuracy: Create accurate 2D/3D designs, layouts, and drawings as per project specifications. Ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and regulations. - Project Documentation: Maintain organized project drawings, revisions, and technical documentation. Ensure all versions are properly updated and archived. - Collaboration with Teams: Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand requirements. Incorporate feedback and changes promptly. - Quality Control: Review and self-check all designs before submission. Maintain adherence to client and company quality standards. - Time Management: Deliver designs within agreed timelines. Prioritize workload based on project deadlines. - Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Suggest design improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
