AutoCAD Designer

As an AutoCAD Designer in the CFD Department, you will play a vital role in supporting engineers and simulation analysts by preparing accurate CAD models, layouts, and drawings for fluid dynamics simulations. Whether you are a fresh graduate or an experienced professional, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to design projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on specifications from CFD engineers. - Assist in the preparation and modification of geometries for CFD simulations. - Collaborate with engineers to ensure design compatibility with fluid flow requirements. - Convert conceptual sketches and ideas into CAD models ready for meshing and analysis. - Revise drawings and layouts to reflect design changes accurately. - Organize and maintain CAD project files and documentation. - Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and guidelines. - Support cross-functional teams including mechanical, HVAC, and thermal engineering groups. For Freshers: - Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc. is a plus). - Understanding of engineering drawings and drafting principles. - Eagerness to learn CFD fundamentals and simulation workflows. - Good communication and team collaboration skills. For Experienced Candidates (15 years): - Proven experience in using AutoCAD for mechanical or CFD-related applications. - Experience preparing CAD models for CFD simulations (e.g., HVAC, aerodynamics, thermal systems). - Familiarity with CFD software tools like ANSYS Fluent, Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM is an advantage. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize CAD geometries for meshing. - Strong attention to detail and adherence to project timelines. Preferred Skills (for all applicants): - Proficiency in AutoCAD and related CAD tools. - Basic understanding of fluid dynamics and simulation principles. - Exposure to meshing tools (e.g., ANSYS Meshing, ICEM CFD, or similar) is a plus. - Willingness to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.,
