Engineering and civil design for Water / Wastewater projects, Stormwater projects Outline design / Optioneering Detailed design Prepare technical reports Designs related to hydrology and open channels Very good knowledge and experience of hydraulics of Rising mains & Gravity Mains, stormwater management Experience of design of pipelines, Pipe fittings, connection details, pipeline renewal Design and layout of Pump stations, pipelines plans and profiles Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination Need to travel offshore for training/on-site work: Occasionally Key responsibilities Technically lead and deliver the design of pumping stations, water, wastewater, and stormwater systems including detailed engineering Work in collaboration with Discipline lead, Project lead, other discipline leads, engineers, and designers Ensure the use of consistent design standards and best practices on projects in line with the technical direction of the discipline Developing excellence by ensuring project efficiencies are achieved Ensure that the quality programs, appropriate design procedures and systems are followed

Preparation of basic site layouts, general arrangement drawings, site grading, plans and profiles, cut and fill calculations, site servicing including water distribution, sanitary sewers, storm water management, shallow utilities, erosion & sediment control etc. Understand design and drafting systems and standards and design development process followed by clients and implement in work Provide design guidance and instruction to drafting staff, and junior/intermediate designers Travel offshore for training/on-site work: Occasionally Regularly interact and engage with other members of the discipline Build and develop professional profile both internally and externally Adherence to professional standards, ethics and Client quality procedures and standards Design of projects under the instructions of a PL s or Lead Engineer using Civil engineering software such as, but not limited to, Autodesk Civil3D, Infraworks and AutoCAD Execute project modelling & detailing services Develop design skills and industry knowledge together with a consistent track record in performance Assist in development of tools and constant improvement to procedures and standards Attend project review meetings and ensure the provision of completed and reviewed drawings (self-verification checklists) Develop a reputation for reliability and consistency Invest conscious effort to develop effective written and verbal communication skill Person Specifications: BEng (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering + minimum 8 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Civil Engineering + minimum 10 years of relevant experience Very good hands-on experience of Civil3D & AutoCAD 2D is must. Knowledge of MicroStation/ OpenRoads / Infraworks / Revit / 12D will be preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu Knowledge of site civil infrastructure and utilities Experience of preparing the GA and detailed drawings of land development projects including residential / commercial / industrial projects General knowledge of construction techniques and practices Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and use his/her initiative. Able to lead smaller tasks and manage work of team Competent level of client service management, i.e., able to interact with clients and to build and maintain lasting, positive relationships Capable to analyze complex issues pertaining to projects and support the team lead in mitigating them in advance Competent level of baseline skills, i.e., professional ethics, confident with the essential, basic business and communication skills that are required for career growth Rigorous attention to detail, able to understand and adopt workflows and commitment to professional development Flexible attitude to accepting different work assignments and pro-active attitude to execution / delivery Good interpersonal skills Willing to work for different regions and willing to learn Professionally accredited or on the verge of achieving it
