Auto CAD designer and nesting

As a CAD Designer at our company, you will be responsible for utilizing CAD software to create detailed drawings for a variety of projects. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers and architects to develop design concepts, preparing and modifying engineering drawings according to project requirements, and ensuring all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will assist in the development of 2D animations for project presentations and actively participate in project meetings to discuss design specifications and progress. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation, with experience in Sketchup, NavisWorks, or other design software considered a plus. A strong understanding of mechanical design principles, the ability to draft and build accurate 3D models, excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this position. While a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, previous experience in CAD design or a similar role will also be beneficial. This is a full-time position with health insurance benefits included. The work schedule is during the day, and the role requires in-person work at our designated location.
