Auto AI Systems Engineer

Role Overview: You will be part of Qualcomm India Private Limited's Engineering Group, specifically under the Systems Engineering team. Your primary focus will be on designing state-of-the-art low-level perception (LLP) and end-to-end AD models, with an emphasis on achieving accuracy-latency Pareto optimality. Additionally, you will collaborate with advanced R&D teams of leading automotive OEMs and Qualcomm's internal stack teams to enhance the speed, accuracy, power consumption, and latency of deep networks on Snapdragon Ride AI accelerators. Key Responsibilities: - Apply your expertise in deep learning to design LLP and AD models, with a special focus on accuracy-latency optimization for Qualcomm Ride platform. - Stay updated on the latest research in Vision Transformers, multi-modal fusion, and efficient network development related to automotive use cases. - Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize deep networks running on Snapdragon Ride AI accelerators. - Utilize machine learning algorithms for autonomous driving, vision, and LiDAR processing ML algorithms. - Develop machine learning hardware and software solutions for inference or training. - Prototype complex machine learning algorithms aligned with product proposals with minimal guidance. - Conduct experiments to train and evaluate machine learning models independently. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 1+ years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree with similar work experience, or PhD in a related field. - Proficiency in software development, strong understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, and hands-on experience in deep learning network design and implementation. - Experience with neural network quantization, compression, pruning algorithms, and deep learning kernel/compiler optimization. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with horizontal AI teams.
