We’re currently looking for a Recruitment & Program Officer to support the operations of the Australian Volunteers program in the North Pacific, consisting Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI). AVI supports the implementation of the Australian Volunteers Program on behalf of the Australian Government. The Australian Volunteers Program supports skilled Australian volunteers to work alongside organisations to sustainably build the capacity of people, organisations and communities in various countries across the Pacific, Asia and Africa. The Recruitment & Program Officer will be on developing productive working relationships with partner organizations, providing support to volunteers, and coordinating monitoring, evaluation and learning activities. Further, supporting Wardens (contracted personnel to oversee welfare of volunteers in Palau and RMI) to provide high quality support to volunteers and any logistical support for the Program required in-country. Position Requirements Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (eg management, business administration, human resources etc) and/or equivalent experience.
