Job Overview: The Technical Officer shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with DGCA CARs (Civil Aviation Requirements) related to aircraft maintenance and continuing airworthiness under NSOP operations. The role involves maintaining aircraft documentation, coordination with maintenance agencies, ensuring availability of spares, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with DGCA regulations including CAR M, CAR 145, and other applicable circulars for NSOP aircraft. Maintain and update technical records including aircraft logbooks, flight hours, component history, AD/SB compliance, and maintenance schedules. Coordinate with CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) and MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul agencies) for timely maintenance. Liaise with DGCA for approval processes, audits, aircraft induction/deregistration, MEL, and documents required under the NSOP. Monitor aircraft airworthiness status and ensure timely scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Maintain inventory control of spare parts and liaise for procurement and customs clearance as required. Prepare and submit technical reports, compliance checklists, and documentation required by DGCA. Ensure proper functioning and up-to-date maintenance tracking software systems (e.g., RAMCO, AMOS, etc.). Assist in preparation of the annual maintenance budget and cost control. Participate in safety management system (SMS) and quality audits as per company and DGCA standards. Requirements: Educational Qualification: AME License / B. Tech in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. DGCA Approved Personnel under relevant CAR provisions will be an added advantage. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Technical Services, CAMO, or Maintenance Planning in NSOP or Scheduled Operator environment. Good knowledge of DGCA regulations, CARs, AD/SB compliance, MEL/CDL, and aircraft documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Maintenance Tracking Systems. Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with business jets or helicopters. Understanding of aircraft leasing, sales, and registration formalities. Exposure to audits (DGCA, internal, and third-party).
