Work with fabrication and vendor teams to validate manufacturability, support prototyping, and oversee part testing and assembly. Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and version-controlled design documentation. Troubleshoot mechanical issues during prototype and production stages; implement design improvements. Collaborate cross-functionally with robotics, electronics, and software teams to integrate mechanical systems into larger automation solutions. Liaise with suppliers for quotations, lead times, and technical clarifications as required.
