Audit Assistant

As an Accounts Executive at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing accounting tasks, audit support, and client communication. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining day-to-day accounting records with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting. - Preparing and posting journal entries, invoices, and reconciliations regularly. - Supporting statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing necessary documentation. - Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. - Handling client interactions through email, calls, and meetings to address queries and provide financial updates. - Generating MIS reports, financial statements, and audit schedules as needed. - Assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes. - Collaborating with auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams to address audit findings. - Providing advisory support to clients on accounting processes, compliance, and financial matters. Qualifications required for this role are: - A Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. - Professional qualifications such as CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA are preferred but not mandatory. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, audit support, and client communication. - Proficiency in Tally / ERP software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction. - Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to work independently.
