Audit Assistant

Location: Edappally, Kochi

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and execution of audit engagements for clients in various industries.
• Perform audit procedures including vouching, verification and reconciliations.
• Assist in the review and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Participate in the physical stock counts, cash counts and asset verifications.
• Document audit findings and working papers in accordance with professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations and accounting standards.
• Support in the preparation of audit reports and client deliverables.
• Keep updated on relevant auditing, accounting and regulatory changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree / CA Inter.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and auditing procedures
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Tally or other accounting software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of team.
• Strong sense of ethics, integrity and professionalism

Qualifications: B.com/ CA Inter

Experience : 2 years experience in CA Firm
