Job Summary: The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining software applications that meet client requirements and business objectives. This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Objectives and Key Outputs (Responsibilities): The Software Developer will be responsible for the following functions and outputs: Feature Delivery & Development: Design, implement and test product features according to project schedules and client specifications. Write clean, scalable, efficient and maintainable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and support. Technical Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with infrastructure, QA, AI and other development teams to ensure integrated and robust solutions. Collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge. Quality Assurance: Take ownership of the stability and performance of delivered features. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests and support system testing to ensure software quality. Identify, troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions. Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation for implemented solutions, including design specifications, code comments and user guides. Client Focus (for IT Services): Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and challenges. Contribute to the development of custom solutions that address specific client requirements. Provide technical support and expertise to clients as needed. Required Skills and Experience: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in software development Solid programming skills in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript - React/Angular/Vue.js, Node.js). Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD). Understanding of software design principles, patterns and best practices. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL). Understanding of AI-based product constraints (data ingestion, model integration) is a plus.
