As a Sales Manager in our company, your primary objective will be to drive sales growth by planning sales strategies to achieve agreed sales targets and ensure sustainable growth in the defined territory. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities by developing a project pipeline with customers, business partners, and technical teams. Additionally, your role will involve providing support for market research to assist in strategic product development and staying updated on local/regional trends, regulations, competition, pricing, and opportunities. Your ultimate goal will be to close profitable deals. To qualify for this position, you must hold a university degree, preferably a Bachelor's degree in a Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Science-related major, with an additional MBA degree being advantageous. You should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in sales-related roles, including at least 1 year of experience in commercial roles within the pharma, chemical, or related industries, demonstrating a proven track record of business development. Knowledge of technical and commercial aspects, pharmaceutical and chemical technology, operations, and quality standards (GMP) will be beneficial. Experience in key account management, fluency in English, business acumen, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and conflict management abilities are also required. Your job skills should encompass sales management, product management, key account management, distributor management, business development, basic technical understanding, support capabilities, customer intelligence, and market insights.
