Position Description : Would lead a team of denter / painters / technicians support staff in handling day-to-day bodyshop repair activities at SCD Mumbai. Would assist the Branch Head in Bodyshop Workshop processes, management achieving targets. Would have to independently assess vehicle damages prepare repair estimates for the same. Would liaison with insurance companies, their surveyors for insurance claims. Should be capable of independently resolving issues for claims repairs on vehicles coming for bodyshop repairs. Previous experience should be from an OEM dealer workshop - ideally Toyota / Maruti / Hyundai or Tata. Previous experience at an insurance company, or having an insurance surveyors license would be plus points Skills and Competencies: Very good knowledge of insurance claim processes Ability to carry out quality check independently Knowledge of Bodyshop & other workshop equipment & tools, & processes Good computer knowledge Driving license is mandatory. Duties And Responsibility : Handling day to day Bodyshop activities Lodging & conducting insurance claims & handling surveyors. Preparation of Bodyshop repair estimates & closing of job cards Allocation of repair jobs to contractor, denters / painters & technicians Quality check on vehicles repaired in Bodyshop Contractor & paint supplier performance monitoring
