Key Responsibilities 1. Audit Execution Assist in planning and conducting statutory audits , tax audits , and internal audits for clients across various industries. Perform audit procedures, including test of controls, substantive testing, vouching, verification, and analytical review. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements. Prepare working papers, audit documents, and draft audit reports. 2. Accounts & Financial Statements Support in preparation and review of financial statements , schedules, ledgers, and MIS reports. Conduct variance analysis and help identify process gaps and areas for improvement. Assist in performing month-end and year-end closing activities for clients. 3. GST Compliance & Advisory Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation statements, annual returns, etc.). Handle GST audits, input tax credit verification, and vendor reconciliation. Assist in GST notices, queries, and basic advisory matters. 4. Income Tax Compliance Prepare and file Income Tax returns of individuals, firms, companies, and other entities. Assist in Tax Audit procedures, working papers, and Form 3CD preparation. Handle TDS/TCS returns, reconciliations, and respond to basic departmental notices. 5. Client Coordination Coordinate with clients to collect data, resolve queries, and ensure timely completion of work. Maintain high levels of client service and professional communication. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Good understanding of Accounting Standards , Auditing Standards , and Direct/Indirect Tax laws . Practical experience in GST return filing, Income Tax filings, and TDS compliance. Hands-on experience with accounting and audit tools such as Tally ERP , Excel , and preferred exposure to audit software . Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skillsboth verbal and written. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Educational Qualifications B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) Additional certifications in taxation or audit will be an added advantage. Experience Requirement 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a CA firm or corporate finance/audit environment. Experience handling end-to-end audit, accounting tasks, GST and Income Tax compliance . Preferred Attributes Willingness to learn and grow within the firm. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Adaptability and proactive attitude. Exposure to multiple industry sectors is desirable.
