As a Machine Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role within our engineering team by utilizing your attention to detail and innovative mindset. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and machines from the initial concept to the final production stage. This will involve the creation of 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure optimal functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness of the projects. To be eligible for this role, you should hold a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, having a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Software Certifications (specifically in AutoCAD and SolidWorks), Project Management Certifications, and knowledge of ISO Standards or GD&T will be beneficial. Key skills that will be essential for success in this position include proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, experience in 2D and 3D CAD modeling and drafting, expertise in concept development and product design, hands-on experience in prototyping and testing, knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), proficiency in project documentation and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, effective communication and teamwork skills, coordination with production, quality control, procurement departments, as well as basic project management capabilities. Ideally, you should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Machine Design and Engineering, with exposure to industries such as Waste Management Equipment, Heavy Machinery, Belt Conveyors, Cement & Steel Plants, and Plastic Recycling Machines. This is a full-time, permanent position with a flexible schedule. You will be expected to work in person during day shifts or fixed shifts.
