As the Head of Operations at our Bleaching Earth manufacturing plant in Bhuj, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the complete operations, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high quality standards, driving process improvements, and fostering a strong and motivated team. Key Responsibilities: - **Production Management**: - Plan, organize, and oversee daily plant operations to achieve targeted production volumes. - Ensure optimal utilization of resources such as manpower, machinery, and raw materials. - Monitor and control production costs, downtime, and efficiency. - **Quality Assurance**: - Implement and maintain strict quality control systems for bleaching earth grades. - Ensure compliance with national and international standards. - Collaborate with R&D and technical teams for continuous product improvement. - **Team Leadership & Development**: - Lead, motivate, and develop plant staff in production, maintenance, and quality functions. - Build a performance-driven culture emphasizing safety and accountability. - Conduct regular training sessions for skill enhancement. - **Process & Operational Excellence**: - Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and technology upgradation. - Identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and waste minimization. - Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE). - **Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities**: - Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and operational plans. - Coordinate with senior management on strategic initiatives, expansion, and new product development. - Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance of the plant. Desired Candidate Profile: - **Experience**: 10-15 years in process industries, preferably in bleaching earth, chemicals, minerals, or related sectors. - **Qualification**: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or related discipline (MBA in Operations/Management is an added advantage).
