Asst. production manager

Production Operations

• Supervise the entire chocolate production process mixing, refining, conching, tempering, moulding, and packaging.

• Ensure daily production plans are achieved with minimal downtime and wastage.

• Monitor machine parameters, process temperatures, and production consistency.

• Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams to resolve issues quickly.

Quality Assurance & Food Safety

• FSSAI

• Maintain hygiene in production and storage areas.

• Conduct in-process quality checks and record deviations.

• Support QA team during internal and external audits.

Planning & Reporting

• Assist in preparing production schedules and manpower allocation.

• Track daily yields, raw material usage, and production efficiency.

• Prepare shift reports and present KPIs to the Production Manager.

• Recommend process improvements for better productivity and consistency.

Team Supervision

• Lead and motivate production operators, helpers, and line supervisors.

• Train team members on SOPs, hygiene, and machine operation.

• Monitor attendance, discipline, and team performance.

Maintenance & Safety

• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities for production machinery.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.

• Identify and report potential safety or process hazards.
