Description
As an Assistant Engineering Technician-Structural(Revit) at Black & Veatch, you will be providing technical support to engineering teams under close supervision. You will be utilizing digital tools and design software such as CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling to assist in the creation, modification, and maintenance of technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include: - Learning and applying standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and BV policies and procedures - Ensuring accuracy and compliance of deliverables by developing knowledge of the BV Quality Program - Demonstrating personal accuracy and supporting continuous improvement efforts - Broadening knowledge of applications required for modifying and developing less complex deliverables - Assisting with minor computations like material quantity estimates and dimensional checks - Coordinating deliverables with other project groups to minimize interference or errors - Focusing on internal clients' needs while gaining a basic understanding of external clients' interests - Proactively seeking and sharing knowledge of latest technologies and processes Preferred qualifications for this role include a Diploma or Certificate, with an Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology being preferred.
