Founded in 1998, AALI is guided by the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and works toward creating an egalitarian system promoting social, economic, and citizenship rights. Headquartered in India, AALI operates in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and Bihar while providing technical support to women’s rights organizations across the country. Utilizing a feminist and rights-based approach, AALI focuses on active citizenship, addressing knowledge gaps, and improving access to justice for communities in need. Role Description This is a full-time on-site position as a Human Resources Assistant located in Lucknow. The Human Resources Assistant will support HR operations, including managing employee records, assisting with recruitment and selection processes, coordinating training programs, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Responsibilities also include maintaining human resources information systems (HRIS), assisting with benefits administration, and contributing to an inclusive and supportive work environment through effective communication and collaboration. Qualifications Knowledge of Human Resources, HR Management, and experience in supporting recruitment and employee relations. Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Benefits Administration processes. Experience in organizing and coordinating employee training and development initiatives. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, as well as prior experience in non-profit sectors, is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
