Maintenance Engineer pimpri-chinchwad 6 - 8 years INR 3.0 - 4.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic press machines, lathe, milling, and drilling machines, along with strong expertise in gear assembly and preventive maintenance. The role requires technical proficiency, analytical skills, and the ability to lead maintenance initiatives to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain Pneumatic Press machines (630T, 250T, 100T, 110T - ISGEC, SEW, SCHULER) Work with Lathe, Milling, and Drilling machines efficiently Perform assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various gear assemblies Handle Hydraulic press maintenance and have knowledge of hydraulic valves and pumps Maintain pneumatic clutch and brake assemblies Manage bearing assemblies and interpret mechanical drawings accurately Work on Mechanical presses including 63T, 100T, 43T, Jwala, and Ameetep models Execute preventive, planned, and breakdown maintenance with a focus on reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) Implement and monitor maintenance KPIs like MTTR and MTBF Drive Kaizen activities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes. Initial Projects (First 3 Months) Conduct detailed study of major breakdown failures and manage critical spare parts inventory. Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules; update machine checkpoints based on findings. Analyze and mitigate air leakage issues across the plant. Implement Kaizen and Pokayoke techniques to improve process reliability and safety. Qualifications & Experience: ITI (Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 6 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience with pneumatic presses, hydraulic presses, and machine tools. Age between 30 to 35 years preferred. Technical Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of mechanical gear assemblies, clutch, and brake systems. Proficient in breakdown analysis, spare part management, and IATF audit documentation. Experience working with ERP systems. Behavioral Competencies: Strong team player with the ability to handle and lead teams. Polite, respectful communication style with excellent listening skills. Humble and open to feedback, avoids arrogance.
