About the job: We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Associate Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through video, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to grow their post-production skills in a collaborative environment. As an Associate Video Editor, you will assist in editing various types of video content from marketing and social media clips to internal videos and product tutorials. Key responsibilities: 1. Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for various platforms (social media, YouTube, website, internal use). 2. Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and designers to execute creative vision and maintain brand consistency. 3. Incorporate graphics, animations, sound design, and music to enhance video narratives. 4. Organize, tag, and manage media assets using project management tools and storage systems. 5. Assist in color correction, audio mixing, and general post-production clean-up. 6. Stay up to date with industry trends, editing software, and storytelling techniques. 7. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. Requirements: 1. 1-3 years of professional or freelance experience in video editing or post-production. 2. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (knowledge of After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop is a plus). 3. Solid understanding of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling. 4. Ability to receive and implement creative feedback constructively. 5. Strong organizational and file management skills. 6. Familiarity with various aspect ratios and formats for different platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok). 7. A portfolio or demo reel showcasing a range of editing styles and techniques. 8. Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field. 9. Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation. 10. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 11. Enthusiasm for media, storytelling, and emerging content trends.
