Associate Vice President | Senior Lead Middleware Engineer

Role Overview: Deutsche Brse Group is a leading international exchange organization and market infrastructure provider headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Their India center in Hyderabad focuses on crafting advanced IT solutions to elevate market infrastructure and services, with a team of capital market engineers forming the backbone of financial markets worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deliver Web server (httpd), Application Server (RedHat JBoss EAP), and other middleware infrastructure for both on-premises and public Cloud deployments, using IaaS and PaaS models. - Assess new infrastructure solutions and innovative technologies, with a focus on RedHat OpenShift and Cloud architectures. - Maintain and develop automation/test frameworks, scripts, and DevOps connectors, including documentation. - Participate in approximately 6 major production implementations each year, including Saturday work. - Manage the relation with development, infrastructure, and information security teams involved in your deliveries. - Document the architecture and security of IT systems, including critical Internet customer-facing applications. - Collaborate with other Domain Experts and report to the Head of Unit. Qualifications Required: - Masters Degree (or equivalent) in computer science. - Hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, operating, and supporting a Web application infrastructure, including httpd Web server and Java application server on Linux, preferably RedHat JBoss EAP. - Knowledge of multi-tier Web infrastructures, especially in high-availability, security, Web servicing, and transaction management. - Ability to make, justify, and challenge technical design decisions. - Practical knowledge of TLS (PKI) and certificate/key deployment. - Ability to structure and document IT architecture, design, and security concepts with very good English technical writing skills.
