As an Investment Banking professional joining our team in Chennai, you will be responsible for reconciling Cash, Trade, and Positions across various asset classes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring quality and timely production of reconciliations for all asset classes - Completing all process tasks efficiently - Setting up wire transfers for cash funding obligations - Responding to data queries and supporting stakeholders - Escalating critical issues to Department Head/Lead for seamless process flow - Liaising with custodians, fund administrators, and other providers to ensure accurate client investments - Providing ideas for process improvement and increasing productivity - Actively documenting procedures and work instructions - Maintaining positive engagement with stakeholders and a high service level - Ensuring data integrity and strict adherence to SLAs - Coordinating and delegating work as required - Collaborating with other functions to identify root causes of breaks and find resolutions You must have experience in Trade Ops, Custody Ops, and Investment Banking, along with knowledge of various market asset classes and the end-to-end flow of Reconciliation. Additionally, familiarity with mutual funds, equities, private equity, bonds, trade life cycle, custodians, and different types of mutual funds is required.
