As an Associate Technical Director - Civil within the Water Civils team at Arcadis, you will have the opportunity to be involved in managing the technical delivery and design outputs of some of the most challenging projects in the Water sector in the UK. The role is crucial in building and strengthening relationships within Arcadis and with clients, contributing to the resilience of natural environments and water resources in the face of climate change and urbanization. Key responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary delivery teams on water and wastewater capital projects, ensuring project tasks are completed within budget and quality targets, and fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders. As a technical expert, you will provide guidance on complex projects, drive innovation, and uphold professional standards in line with Arcadis" business management system. To excel in this role, candidates should possess around 15+ years of experience in Design & Engineering projects in the UK water sector, along with relevant qualifications such as a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng. Chartered Engineer status and membership in professional institutions like ICE or CIWEM are preferred. Strong leadership skills, knowledge of design software, and a commitment to health, safety, and sustainability practices are essential for success in this position.
