Associate Professor AI/ML

Job Description:

• Supervision of doctoral candidates through their coursework and research
• Communicating with the learners, assisting them in their learning journey and research
• Mentoring learners, facilitating and motivating them in their research process.
• Operating as the single point of contact for your learners on all academic matters
• Collaborating with others teams to facilitate learner progression and providing support at all times.
• Guiding learners through the assignments and ensuring timely submissions.
• Evaluating the assessments for the doctoral course work.
• Participate in research progress review meetings and thesis reviews as internal examiner and produce reports thereto.
• Reviewing delivery methods and teaching materials and making recommendations for improvement.
• Creating and delivering workshops, orientations and other training sessions as part of academic delivery, coursework and team development.
• Serving on various committees, organising conferences, delivering webinars, and handling other administrative duties.
• Assisting with student recruitment, interviews, and academic counselling sessions as and when required.

Role Requirements:

• Educational qualifications:
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science (AI/ ML or related domains)
• MTech in CS/ IT with an MBA in any discipline
• Excellent research skills in qualitative/ quantitative techniques
• A minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience teaching at postgraduate level and up to 10 years of total experience (including industry experience)
• Experience supervising Master's level dissertations in Management topics
• Proven track record as a researcher with national/ international publications
• Strong teaching and mentoring skills with a desire to assist learners in their research journey
• Excellent presentation, and written and verbal communication skills in English with a neutral or near-neutral accent
• A sound understanding of the subject matter including research methods
• Ability to work professionally with learners from across the globe belonging to different cultures, races and nationalities
• A highly motivated individual and an excellent team player willing to work from home

Additional Requirements:

• This position will be full-time work from home/ remote working mode. Office time will be 10:00 am to 7:00 pm OR 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM
• Work hours can occasionally extend to 8 PM IST to meet the requirements of learners from the North and South Americas and the Caribbean. However, such meetings are planned well ahead as per the convenience of all participants.
• Strong mobile network, stable internet connectivity, and consistent power supply are mandatory requirements.
