In this role at American Express, you will be responsible for creating user-centered experiences and interfaces for products and solutions, focusing on improving end-to-end user journeys. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing design and specifications to enhance user interfaces for company products - Using design tools to create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture diagrams, and user journey maps for demonstrations and user testing - Producing high-fidelity designs for implementation by development teams - Analyzing user research, business insights, and data to continuously enhance customer experiences - Reviewing proposed product changes for compliance with desired user experience design standards and suggesting improvements - Creating and maintaining UI/UX resources such as content templates, samples, and guidelines To qualify for this role, you should meet the following minimum qualifications: - At least 1 year of hands-on experience in or with a product design organization - Familiarity with Figma - Understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research, and processes - Ability to share problem-solving solutions in an engaging manner - Proactive and energetic communicator with attention to detail Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Figma with experience in building organized, component-driven designs and a portfolio showcasing user journeys and interaction design.
