Associate Principal Engineer, IOT

As a seasoned professional with over 11 years of experience, you will be responsible for architecting end-to-end IoT systems by seamlessly integrating devices, edge computing, and cloud services. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing scalable IoT solutions using AWS (Greengrass, IoT Core, Kinesis, Lambda) or Azure (IoT Hub, Edge, SQL Server) while leveraging serverless and cloud-native architectures. Furthermore, you will deploy and manage edge devices with real-time data processing and microservices, along with building data pipelines and analytics solutions using tools like Redshift, DocumentDB, or SQL Server. Your proficiency in implementing Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux-based environments will be crucial as you manage IoT device security and system performance. Ensuring compliance with IoT security standards, encryption, and regulations such as GDPR will be a key aspect of your role. Your extensive experience in architecture, design patterns, and maintaining IoT technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives will be instrumental in leading IoT projects from conception to implementation. Additionally, you will demonstrate strong capabilities in mobile build and deployment processes, along with a proficiency in Python and the ability to adapt to new technologies swiftly. Your in-depth understanding of IoT protocols and integration with existing enterprise platforms will play a vital role in your success. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to mentor team members effectively on IoT best practices while ensuring efficient system performance techniques are implemented. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and reviewing high-quality, maintainable code, understanding client business use cases, and translating them into elegant and scalable technical designs. Guiding developers with clear technical instructions, identifying optimal solutions for client requirements, and defining guidelines for non-functional requirements during project implementation will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will also play a pivotal role in developing end-to-end solutions, resolving issues during code reviews, conducting POCs, and mentoring team members to foster growth and alignment with new IoT technologies and methodologies. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
