Job Description

Role Overview: You are expected to execute any small to mid-size customer project in the field of VLSI Frontend, Backend, or Analog design with minimal supervision. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for owning a task related to RTL Design/Module and providing support to junior engineers in various areas such as Verification, PD, DFT, Circuit Design, Analog Layout, STA, Synthesis, Design Checks, and Signoff. Your successful and timely completion of assigned tasks will be crucial for on-time quality delivery approved by the project lead/manager. Key Responsibilities: - Work independently to analyze and complete assigned tasks in the defined domain(s) - Ensure quality delivery of the design and module for easy integration at the top level - Adhere to functional specifications and design guidelines without any deviation - Document tasks and work performed for future reference - Meet project timelines as requested by the program manager - Support the team lead in delivering intermediate tasks - Participate in teamwork by supporting team members/lead when needed - Automate repetitive tasks to save design cycle time - Participate in technical discussions and forums - Utilize languages and programming skills such as System Verilog, Verilog, VHDL, UVM, C, C++, Assembly, Perl, TCL/TK, Makefile, and Spice - Familiarity with EDA tools like Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor tool sets, simulators, and other relevant tools - Strong technical knowledge in areas like IP Spec Architecture Design, Bus Protocols, Physical Design, Circuit Design, Analog Layout, Synthesis, DFT, Floorplan, Clocks, P&R, STA, and more - Understanding of CMOS FinFet technology and various nanometer nodes - Excellent communication skills, analytical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail - Continuous learning and adaptation to new skills as required for project execution - Experience in memory custom circuit design, CMOS circuit design, device physics, and memory architecture - Hands-on experience with Cadence Spectre, SPICE, HSPICE, and industry-standard memory design tools - Knowledge of advanced technology nodes and Scripting languages like Python, Perl, TCL Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in VLSI Frontend, Backend, or Analog design - Strong foundation in memory circuit design with a focus on power, performance, area, and yield optimization - Proficiency in Cadence Spectre, scripting languages, and memory design tools - Familiarity with advanced technology nodes and memory architecture (Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the job description),
