Job Description

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing test cases accurately to prevent incorrect product shipment by reporting business critical bugs. You will work under supervision and your primary goal will be to complete the assigned test grid without deviation from given test steps, determine product failures, report issues in the test repository and bug tracker, identify "out of box" product issues, and execute Adhoc scenarios as required. Additionally, you will be expected to file P1/Showstopper issues. Key Responsibilities: - Complete the assigned test grid without deviation from given test steps - Determine product failures and report them in the test repository and bug tracker - Identify "out of box" product issues - Learn technology and business domain individually and as recommended by the project/account - Execute Adhoc scenarios as required - File P1/Showstopper issues Qualifications Required: - Computer hardware and components operation skills - Ability to execute Ad-hoc scenarios - Proficiency in working with Windows OS flavours and installation - Experience in working with BIOS drivers and various display protocols - Capability to perform and evaluate test results against product specifications - Skill in estimating effort time required for own work - Ability to perform and evaluate tests in the customer or target environment - Teamwork skills - Strong written and verbal communication abilities - Good understanding of SDLC & STLC process - Knowledge regarding different types of testing methodologies Kindly note that there are no additional details about the company provided in the job description.,
