Associate Engineer- Device Driver development

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, and documenting device drivers for ARM SoC. Your role will also involve bringing up the driver, unit testing driver features in new ARM SoC, and optimizing the driver for maximum performance. Additionally, you will be involved in bug analysis and fixing during product verification stage and addressing customer-reported issues. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and unit test device drivers for ARM SoC - Bring up the driver and perform unit testing on driver features in new ARM SoC - Optimize the driver for maximum performance - Analyze and fix bugs during product verification stage and customer reported issues Qualifications Required: - 0-1 year of experience - Strong programming skills in C and experience with Linux - Knowledge of device driver or board support package (BSP) development - Familiarity with developing device drivers and bootloaders - Understanding of ARM/DSP Processor Architecture, JTAG, and Emulators - Experience with RDK-B, Yocto build framework, QSDK framework, PRPL OS development, or Opensync is an added advantage - Excellent communication skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or Electronics preferred with proven success in a challenging academic program Additional Details: Qualcomm is committed to providing an accessible process for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
