Associate Doctor

You will be responsible for helping patients by providing information, services, and assistance. This includes maintaining the medical supplies inventory and performing preventive maintenance to ensure that medical equipment is operating efficiently. You will verify patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of their visit. In addition, you will prepare patients for examination by conducting preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature measurements, and summarizing the patient's history. Your role will also involve assisting doctors with office procedures to save time. Maintaining patient confidentiality is crucial, so you will be responsible for securing patient information, safeguarding medical records, completing diagnostic and procedure coding, and keeping patient data confidential. You will also counsel patients by conveying physicians" orders and addressing any questions they may have about surgery. Creating a safe and healthy work environment is a priority. This includes establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and keeping supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts. You will also ensure that equipment is operating smoothly by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and arranging for repairs when necessary. Adhering to professional standards, facility policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local requirements is essential to serve and protect the practice.
