Associate Director- Power Platform & Low-Code Solutions

As a Senior Manager / Associate Director for Power Platform & Low-Code Solutions, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture, delivery, and innovation of business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder) and similar low-code/no-code technologies. You will lead a global team across India, Jamaica, and Mexico, driving digital transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. 

1. Solution Architecture & Technology Innovation

• Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and robust solutions using Power Platform and other low-code technologies.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technology innovations to broaden the technical scope and drive business value.
• Oversee the integration of Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems (Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, Azure, SAP, etc.).
• Define and enforce best practices for solution architecture, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), security, and governance.
• Champion the adoption of PowerApps and similar platforms to expand the organizations low-code capabilities.

2. Team Leadership & Global People Management

• Manage, mentor, and develop technical teams located in India, Jamaica, and Mexico, ensuring high engagement and performance.
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career development for team members.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning across geographically distributed teams.
• Oversee resource allocation, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning for the global team.

3. Project & Program Delivery

• Oversee the full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of Power Platform and low-code solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies, ensuring effective prioritization and resource utilization.
• Drive agile practices, backlog management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external partners.
• Lead solution workshops, architecture reviews, and executive briefings to align technology initiatives with business strategy.
• Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across regions and functions.

5. Operational Excellence & Support

• Oversee the support and maintenance of developed solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Monitor solution usage, adoption, and feedback to drive enhancements and maximize business impact.

Required Experience & Skills

• 14+ years of experience in application development, with at least 5 years in designing, architecting, and delivering Microsoft Power Platform or similar low-code solutions.
• Proven track record in solution architecture, technology innovation, and digital transformation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in PowerApps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and integration with diverse data sources.
• Experience managing and developing teams across multiple geographies (India, Jamaica, Mexico preferred).
• Deep understanding of ALM, security, governance, and best practices for low-code platforms.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies, project management, and backlog management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or related technologies.
• Experience with other low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Mendix, OutSystems, Appian).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience in change management and driving technology adoption at scale.
