Job Description

You will be leading a team based in India, specializing in Geospatial Analytics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Data Engineering. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and growing a multidisciplinary team, serving as the main contact between stakeholders in the UK and the Indian team. Your role will involve providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and ensuring project outcomes align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include leading, mentoring, and motivating the team, fostering a collaborative work environment, conducting performance reviews, and identifying training opportunities for career development. You will also oversee project planning and execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results within agreed timelines and budgets. In terms of technical leadership, you will provide guidance in Geospatial Analytics, spatial data modeling, and visualization. You will integrate geospatial data with engineering workflows, lead the design and implementation of GIS solutions, and optimize spatial data models for real-time analytics. Additionally, you will support the team in solving complex geospatial challenges, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and present project updates to senior leadership. As the primary point of contact between the UK team and the Indian team, you will translate geospatial and data insights into actionable recommendations, present analytical findings to stakeholders, and ensure alignment of team objectives with organizational goals. Your key competencies should include deep expertise in Geospatial Analytics, GIS, or Data Engineering, proficiency in geospatial analysis tools and programming languages, familiarity with cloud services and data engineering languages, and experience with data visualization and machine learning techniques. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geospatial Analytics, GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 15 years of experience in a technical role focusing on geospatial data and analytics, GIS, or Data Engineering. Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential, as well as the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and translate technical concepts into business insights. Your enthusiasm and energy will be key in driving the growth strategy forward over the next five years in collaboration with the Head of Planning, Property, and Advisory.,
