Associate Backend Developer (Laravel)

As an Associate Backend Developer (Laravel) at Salt Technologies, a leading Indian software development company, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Laravel. You will work closely with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality web applications. Your key responsibilities will include designing and managing databases to ensure data integrity and performance, writing clean and efficient code following best practices and coding standards, troubleshooting issues and resolving bugs, and creating technical documentation for backend systems and APIs. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our backend solutions. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in backend development with Laravel. Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework, experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar, and an understanding of RESTful APIs and web services are essential. Familiarity with version control systems, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication skills are also required. Knowledge of modern backend frameworks and libraries, as well as experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, would be a plus.
