Associate 1 AMDC - FTS

The Associate 1 will primarily be responsible for demonstrating basic accounting and auditing knowledge. You will need to understand audit procedures performed by GDC and familiarize yourself with the audit documentation tool eAudIT. Additionally, you should become acquainted with audit tools and applications such as IDEA, WISDOM, CASEWARE, and MS Office. It is essential to perform audit procedures efficiently and effectively within the provided timeframe while maintaining quality standards. Participation in self-development activities related to technical and project management areas is encouraged. Strong interpersonal skills are a must to succeed in this role. You will also be expected to participate in or lead team and group activities to contribute to the overall success of the team. Mandatory technical and functional skills include a solid understanding of audit and accounting principles, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Preferred technical and functional skills include attention to detail, a focus on quality, being a quick learner, and demonstrating adaptability to change. You should be willing and capable of delivering under tight timelines, including working on weekends, based on business needs. Flexibility to travel to the US for short- and long-term assignments is also desired. Key behavioral attributes required for this role include willingness and capability to deliver under tight deadlines and a good knowledge of MS Office, with a particular emphasis on MS Excel skills.
