Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor in the field of Computer Science and Engineering (specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at PES University, Bengaluru. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, developing and updating curriculum, mentoring students, conducting research in AI and ML, publishing in reputable journals, and participating in academic and administrative activities to contribute to the growth of the department and university.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and related areas such as Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision.
• Experience in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in AI and ML, such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
• A strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI & ML, or a closely related field. A Master's degree with significant professional and academic experience will also be considered for Assistant Professor roles.
• Excellent teaching skills, including curriculum development, engaging classroom delivery, and student mentoring in both theoretical and practical courses.
• A track record of research publications in recognized journals and the ability to pursue funded research projects in AI and ML.
• Soft skills such as strong interpersonal communication abilities, organizational skills, and a collaborative attitude toward academic and departmental activities.
• Experience in supervising postgraduate and doctoral students is a plus.
• Commitment to contribute to the academic community and an enthusiasm for staying updated with advancements in AI and ML.
