Assistant Professor – Social Media & Digital Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in social media marketing, digital marketing, content strategy, analytics, and related subjects.
• Design, update, and improve curriculum in line with current industry trends and technological advancements.
• Guide students in project work, internships, dissertations, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputed journals.
• Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and industry interaction programs.
• Support the department in academic planning, student development activities, and accreditation processes.
• Contribute to social media strategy and outreach of the college if required.
• Collaborate with industry experts and enhance corporate interface for student placements and internships.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Management, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Master’s degree (MBA, or equivalent) with specialization in Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching or relevant industry experience.
• UGC NET qualification (preferred but not mandatory if Ph.D. awarded as per UGC norms).
