Role & responsibilities

• Teaching anatomy:

  Delivering lectures, leading laboratory sessions, and providing hands-on instruction on human anatomy to medical students.

• Cadaver dissection:

  Performing dissections on cadavers to demonstrate anatomical structures to students.

• Curriculum development:

  Creating and updating anatomy teaching materials, including visual aids, slides, and practical exercises.

• Research activities:

  Conducting research on anatomical variations, new imaging techniques, or the development of anatomical structures.

• Clinical applications:

  Applying anatomical knowledge to assist surgeons during procedures by identifying key landmarks and structures.

• Collaboration with clinicians:

  Working with other healthcare professionals, like surgeons and radiologists, to interpret anatomical findings in clinical contexts.

• Grant writing:

  Securing funding for research projects related to anatomy

• Publication of research findings:

  Writing scientific papers and presenting research findings at conferences.

• Staying updated:

  Keeping up with advancements in anatomical science through continuing education and literature reviews.
