Key Responsibilities - Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate (B.Pharm) and postgraduate (M.Pharm in Pharmacology) programs, covering topics such as general pharmacology, systemic pharmacology, toxicology, drug interactions, and pharmacodynamics. - Develop and update course curricula in alignment with Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) guidelines, incorporating contemporary advancements in pharmacological research. - Supervise and mentor graduate students in research projects, theses, and laboratory work, promoting hands-on experience in experimental pharmacology and bioassays. - Conduct independent and collaborative research in areas such as drug discovery, molecular pharmacology, or clinical pharmacology, aiming to publish in peer-reviewed journals and secure external funding. - Participate in departmental activities, including curriculum committees, accreditation processes, and outreach programs to enhance industry-academia partnerships. - Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support academic progress. - Contribute to the university's broader goals by engaging in community service, continuing education programs, and faculty development initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Essential Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Pharmacology or a closely related field from a recognized university (as per UGC/AICTE/PCI norms). Master's degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with specialization in Pharmacology, securing at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade; relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per government rules). Qualification in UGC-NET/SET or equivalent, or fulfillment through Ph.D. as per the latest UGC regulations. Desirable Experience: - 03 years of post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience in a PCI-approved institution; fresh Ph.D. holders with strong academic records are encouraged to apply. - Demonstrated research output, such as publications in indexed journals (e.g., Scopus/Web of Science) or presentations at national/international conferences.
