ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-MATHEMATICS

An Assistant Professor of Mathematics is an educator and researcher responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses, developing curricula, and engaging in original mathematical research. Key duties include delivering lectures, mentoring students, supervising research, publishing findings in academic journals, and participating in departmental committees and administrative tasks. The role requires expertise in a specialization, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to advancing mathematical knowledge. Key Responsibilities

• Teaching: Design and deliver engaging lectures and courses, develop lesson plans, and create course materials for undergraduate and/or graduate students.
• Research: Conduct original research in mathematics, analyze data, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Mentorship: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, helping them develop their intellectual and personal growth in mathematics.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the creation and improvement of course syllabi, teaching methods, and the overall educational goals of the mathematics department.
• Departmental Involvement: Participate in departmental committees, assist with administrative duties, and contribute to academic policy-making.
• Collaboration: Engage with colleagues on research projects and attend seminars and conferences to stay updated on the latest advancements in their field.
• Student Supervision: Guide and supervise undergraduate and graduate students on their research projects.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
