Job Description: As an Assistant Professor in the Physics department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction and contributing to the overall growth of the department. You will hold regular classes and provide guidance to students in the field of Physics. Engage in research activities and publish papers in reputable journals. Mentor students and provide academic support as required. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Physics and incorporate them into teaching. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute towards curriculum development. Key Responsibilities: - Hold regular classes and provide guidance to students in the field of Physics - Engage in research activities and publish papers in reputable journals - Mentor students and provide academic support as required - Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Physics and incorporate them into teaching - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute towards curriculum development Qualifications Required: - Must hold an MSc and Ph.D. in Physics with a minimum of 1st Class in both UG and PG - UGC-NET/SLET/SET qualification is mandatory - Gender: Open to both Male and Female candidates - Experience: 0 to 5+ years in teaching Physics at the university level - Immediate joiners from in and around Chennai preferred - Job Type: Full-time, on-site position located in Chembarambakkam near Poonamallee Please note that the salary package will be as per the institute's norms.
