Position Summary:

HKBK Degree College is seeking a dynamic and committed Assistant Professor of Kannada with strong academic credentials and a passion for teaching. The candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction in Kannada language and literature to undergraduate students.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.A) in Kannada from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level in a recognized degree college.
• Additional Requirement:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be an immediate joiner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, conduct tutorials, and facilitate discussions in Kannada language and literature.
• Develop and update lesson plans, teaching materials, and course files.
• Prepare question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
• Provide academic and personal guidance to students as a mentor.
• Contribute to departmental activities, curriculum development, and college events.
• Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance academic skills.
• Support accreditation and documentation processes as per university and college requirements.
• Maintain discipline and promote the academic environment of the institution.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong subject knowledge in Kannada literature, grammar, and history.
• Effective classroom management and teaching methodology.
• Ability to integrate technology in teaching.
• Commitment to student development and academic excellence.
