Assistant Manager-UK Research and Development

As a candidate for this position, you will play an active role in managing client relationships, ensuring deadlines are met, addressing daily inquiries, and establishing yourself as a trusted point of contact. Additionally, you will be responsible for: - Assisting in reviewing and preparing numerical aspects of claims, applying rules for manager/AD review. - Analyzing cost data using tools like Excel to determine eligible costs for clients" R&D claims. - Utilizing legislation, tax authorities" guidance, and firm resources effectively for relevant work areas. - Reviewing and preparing formal reports to support costings claim for HMRC filing. - Creating project technical summaries showcasing clients" qualifying R&D activities. - Attending meetings, taking notes, and following up on agreed actions with managers/associate directors. - Participating in business development activities and supporting senior team members in winning work. - Obtaining feedback regularly and completing self-job appraisals in a timely manner. - Demonstrating a clear commitment to self-development through appraisal and personal development plan processes. - Reporting any potential ethical breaches or non-compliance with laws and regulations to managers and engagement leaders. - Acting with integrity and aligning with organizational values.
