Assistant Manager-Microbiology

You will be joining Horizon Biolabs Pvt Ltd., a GLP compliant Pharmaceutical Testing Laboratory based in Hyderabad, India. As a candidate with an MSc in Microbiology and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a reputed Pharma Testing Lab, CRO, or Pharmaceutical Industry, your role will involve planning and organizing the daily activities of the Microbiology laboratory to ensure product quality and compliance with various regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and validate Microbial enumeration tests, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Test (AET/PET), Sterility tests, Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET), and Microbiological Assays. - Perform Water System Validations, Disinfectant Efficacy Tests, Hand Sanitizer Efficacy Evaluations, and Environmental Monitoring. - Conduct Facility Qualifications for water and area. General Responsibilities: - Ensure microbiological testing is conducted according to guidelines and schedules. - Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and develop associated policies. - Investigate and trend invalid and Out-of-Specification results, implement corrective actions, and evaluate audit observations. - Adhere to GMP, company Quality Policies, and site SOPs standards. - Practice good documentation and participate in investigations. Other Responsibilities: - Provide training on laboratory methods to team members. - Conduct documentation and data trending activities. Team Management: - Guide and mentor associates, review their performance regularly, and provide feedback for improvement. Qualifications Required: - MSc/BSc in Microbiology. - 6-8 years of total work experience in Pharma Testing Lab, CRO, or Pharmaceutical Industry.
